Info
Siheng Liang is a Chinese-born artist based in Minnesota. He graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 2005 and taught at Chengdu Academy of Fine Arts from 2005 to 2018. His work has been exhibited in China and the United States, including solo exhibitions in Beijing in 2012 and 2015.
He was a recipient of the Michael and Nina Sundell Residency at Yaddo in 2024. His work has been featured in New American Paintings, Midwest Issue 173, and selected for the White Columns Artist Registry.
Recent exhibitions include Painting Show 2 at HAIR + NAILS, Minneapolis; h(u)m//Echoes at RainRain Gallery, New York; Spirit Unearthed, a solo exhibition at Night Club, Minnesota; and Body and Portrait at Line Gallery, Beijing.
Works are held in private collections in the United States, Germany, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China.
